What we’re seeking:
The Category Manager will oversee all sourcing-related activities and processes associated with the acquisition of materials and services, which may include Information Technology, Software, Licensing, and other technology services to support the operational needs of the company. This includes requirements gathering, sourcing, creating and issuing Request for Proposal (RFP), proposal evaluation, contract negotiations, contract drafting, and administration. Functionally responsible for ensuring compliance with Company Procurement policy, ethical and legal business practices, and lowest total cost procurement. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to 1919 McKinney Ave, Dallas, TX to complete your work responsibilities.
What we need in you:
We need you to be a self-motivated, independent Category Manager with an interest in focusing on IT procurement. Your ability to work with internal stakeholders, be strategic and proactive will serve you well along side your superior negotiation skills.
What you’ll do:

Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned business units for sourcing needs. Executes the Frontier Strategic Sourcing Process which includes; strategic planning, scoping, bidding, contract execution, compliance, and supplier management activities for assigned categories

Must be adept at communicating with vendors and internal business partners to establish and maintain credibility for the sourcing function, while increasing service to our internal business partners - improving the quality and performance levels of the supply base to achieve the lowest total cost to the Company

Structures contracts as to pricing, performance measures, and breach of contract remedies and/or termination options. Must be skilled in negotiating, renegotiating, and administering contracts with suppliers and vendors such that the best interest of the Company is paramount

Participates in cross-functional teams comprised of business managers, Legal, Risk Management, and other impacted organizations to coordinate Company sourcing activities. Demonstrated ability to build and analyze financial models to evaluate proposal scenarios and present recommendations in a clear and concise format

Must be able to develop, coordinate, and control multiple processes and or projects, achieving on-time contracting services to satisfy the operating requirements of the Company, while delivering a high level of customer service to the organization

Salary Range: $63,000 to $151,000
