Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed mental health professional with experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals of all ages but specifically to the pediatric population. As a Mental Health Therapist at Lemon-Aid Mental Health Services, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by delivering personalized, client-centered care and supporting them on their journey towards healing and recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, utilizing various modalities (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness-based approaches).
- Collaborate with clients to identify strengths, resources, and coping strategies to support resilience and positive growth.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjust treatment interventions as needed, and maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psych nurse practitioners, case managers, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and integrated care.
- Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist in the state of [State].
- Minimum of [2] years of clinical experience providing mental health therapy services to individuals across the lifespan.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients.
- Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical practice.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation practices.
