Position Summary:
The essential duties of Employee as a Senior Financial Analyst are broadly summarized as having an active role in weekly and monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting, projections, system implementation, and supporting all efforts for adherence to best practices, policies, procedure, and protocols. Key duties for meeting these expectations of the senior financial analyst role specifically include, but are not limited to, the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and clinical reports.
- Track expenses and revenues vs budget and reforecast.
- Analyze data trends or deviations in the company’s financials and KPIs.
- Assist in producing quarterly board presentation materials.
- Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization.
- Assist in the budgeting process.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ad hoc reports and financial models as needed.
- Develop proformas for new business.
- Assist in new system implementation.
- Creating top quality, easy to understand business presentations
- Providing back-up support to other financial functions in the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial analysis preferably in healthcare
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, emphasis on Excel
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
- Ability to complete projects timely and accurately is critical
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Intermediate knowledge of major accounting software packages for general ledger
- Private equity or investment banking experience required
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
