The Clinical Informatics and Compliance officer is responsible for the overall program management of NextGen/Epic & the meaningful use program. They will actively identify and manage project issues, risks and decisions; ensuring project quality of outcomes. Additionally responsible for all data management, the electronic medical record, and the governance of both items. Responsible for the successful planning, implementation, and transition to effectively utilize ICD-10.
Responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the end user training for all projects for which they are responsible.
Responsible for addressing/resolving reported compliance issues.
Project execution is vital in this position from project planning, impact analysis, implementation and training.
Proven success in the following job competencies:
- An associate degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, business administration or equivalent experience or education is required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience with EMR systems and Templates, preferable Nextgen/Epic
