Position Requirements, Knowledge and Abilities
- Passion to deliver the best experience through attentive and courteous service
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but no experience is required if you have motivation to learn and ambition to grow
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with cooks and other staff
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
- Able to use a touch-sensitive POS system
- Be knowledgeable of menu and make recommendations
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter into point-of-sale
- Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner
- Perform assigned side work
- Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Ability to traverse all levels of the building quickly and safely
- Current Washington state Food Handler’s certification
- Valid Washington state class 12 MAST permit
Preferred but Not Required
- Familiar with Clubessential POS system
- Wine knowledge
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout the shift and for long periods of time
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- A la carte and banquet service
- This is a full-time position
- Monday-Friday, daytime
- Occasional evenings and weekends
- Schedule based on business needs
Compensation: This is an hourly position at $23.00/hour.
