Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Systems Administrator Job Description
VTC Systems Administrator Position Overview:
Wakelight VTC Systems Administrators provide VTC support services, per COMMAND VTC Endpoint Policies and Procedures and User Agreements for approximately twenty (20) unclassified and classified, VTC conferences on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities for VTC Administrator;
· Provides sevices as the primary point-of-contact (POC) for coordinating and scheduling VTCs for three (3) COMMAN VTC rooms. The contractor shall schedule VTC facilities, conduct VTC set-up, operate VTCs, and properly tear down all VTC equipment.
· Provide services as the POC, in conjunction with the COMMAND N6, for maintaining support contract visibility of all assets for warranty, refresh, and technical support under contract.
· Provide necessary technical oversite of the equipment during refresh, and ensure the equipment is properly functioning post-refresh.
· Provide teleconference and collaborative software support services to the Command for approximately 15 (fifteen) unclassified and classified teleconferences and/or software supported teleconferences weekly.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· At least three (3) years’ experience with the operation of VTC equipment (e.g. CISCO, Tandberg, Polycom) which includes an understanding of VTC equipment and system standards, components, configurations, scheduling, and setup procedures
· Shall have familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, specifically, email event and scheduling functions.
· Shall have at least three (3) years’ experience troubleshooting VTC hardware and software, and experience providing VTC service desk support.
· Have familiarity with using Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Video Conference (VC) Wizard Scheduling application.
· Have familiarity with using Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) and Microsoft Teams.
· Must be a U.S. citizen and shall be fluent in the English language
· IT-II certification required, as defined in SECNAV-M 5510.36.
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance commensurate with the position

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
