Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a critical care setting, utilizing their expertise to deliver high-quality medical services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist in discharge planning and coordination of post-hospital care
- Perform venipuncture and other medical procedures as required
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Skills:
- Proficient in patient care within an ICU environment
- Knowledge of esthetic laser treatment procedures
- Experience in discharge planning for inpatient and home community care transitions
- Competency in venipuncture techniques
- Familiarity with ophthalmology practices
- Understanding of workers' compensation laws related to healthcare settings
- Ability to handle urgent care situations effectively
- Physical capability to lift and move patients as needed
