Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Fellow to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for early intervention, play-based therapy, speech-sound disorders and working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This position will involve clinic-based therapy sessions focusing on toddlers through preschool to school age populations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language impairments, particularly in children with autism.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support students' educational and developmental needs.
- Provide consultation and support to families and caregivers, emphasizing a partnership approach to therapy.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards and clinic policies.
- Stay updated on the latest research and therapeutic approaches in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Current state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience or strong interest in early intervention and autism spectrum disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
