SIGNING BONUS $3000
Responsible for screening and disposition requests for services from VC. Performs as crisis counselor, as needed. Gathers information for referral to our program and for statistical purposes.
Essential Job Functions: (This is not the job description in its entirety)
- Conduct diagnostic mental health assessments with skill and compassion.
- Provide client placement in appropriate level of care based on clinical screening and JCAHO criteria.
- Ensure consent for services and understanding of client rights for individuals requesting services.
- Work collaboratively with Front Desk, Care Coordinators and other staff involved in intake process.
- Attain client satisfaction goals, as specified.
- Attends scheduled VC staff meetings and training.
- Assists Access Specialist for Intakes in the overall program development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MA Degree in Behavioral Sciences Field or MSW
- Ability to obtain Washington State MHP (Mental Health Professional) designation upon hire.
- Pass required background checks.
- Ability to work independently.
