Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work as a team and assist anywhere that is in need of help
- Uphold the integrity of the company service standard with consistency, style, and excellence in every guest encounter
- Learn the details of the ever-changing seasonal menu
- Keep a neat and clean service area and common public areas
- Provide impeccable service and create a memorable guest experience
- Have intermediate knowledge in food and beverage pairing
- Have intermediate knowledge in food allergies and culinary techniques
- Be aware of what's in season and being able to provide extensive food descriptions
- Communicate with kitchen and service manager consistently to be on the same page for guests requests, orders and service notes
- Stay current on industry trends, specialties, new products, ingredients, and techniques
- Provide responsible alcohol service based on rules and regulations
- Understand the sequence of service and provide seamless flow of service
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed and scheduled
- Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company and your department
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Learn & understand the company brands, concept, farm operations and share the knowledge with the guests as well as the team.
** This position requires previous serving experience and candidates are required to pass a skills & knowledge test to be a server at any EFHG establishments.
Requirements:
- 1 year of serving experience at a high volume full-service restaurant required
- 2 years of front of house experience at a full-service restaurant preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of fine food and wine, as well as proper serving techniques preferred
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Able to walk/stand the entire shift
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Can handle working in a hot environment
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and walk up/down stairs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
