Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team. We manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties, ensuring comfort and quality living for our residents. As an Apartment Licensed Journeyman Plumber, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing plumbing systems across our apartment complexes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems in apartment units and common areas.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing system issues promptly and effectively.
- Install new plumbing equipment as needed, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to prolong the lifespan of systems and minimize disruptions to residents.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests related to plumbing issues.
- Collaborate with property management teams to schedule maintenance and repairs with minimal impact on residents.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Requirements:
- Current Journeyman Plumber license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably in residential settings.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting plumbing systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with property management teams and residents.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and perform duties requiring bending, kneeling, and crawling in tight spaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multifamily residential plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
