Position Reports To: Branch Manager
Position Summary
Processing member transactions and member service in compliance with State and Federal regulations and credit union policies.
To succeed in this position, you must be able to satisfactorily perform common occurrences of each of the following under direct supervision from your manager:
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer
- Open and close member accounts
- Educate and cross-sell members on Credit Union products and services.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Credit Union’s products and services.
- Understand and comply with applicable Federal and State laws, banking regulations and JACom Credit Union’s policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including member service, lending functions, and operations support as needed.
Position Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- High School Diploma/ GED required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Japanese preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 10 lbs.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for brief periods of time.
- Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and a computer mouse and keyboard.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
