We are looking for a Dishwasher / Busser to help run the dish pit station from our dining room and cafe guests, buss tables, and run food. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by bussing tables, washing dishes, and flatware
- Preparing dining areas and kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and kitchen areas.
- Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as food processors, bins, pots, mixers, etc
- Unloading and storing deliveries
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans
- Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed
- Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 16+
- Team player that is self-motivated, a problem solver, and proactive
- Exceptional time management skills
- A flexible work schedule that will include weekends
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours. This position is physical and demanding in nature and involves working with potentially dangerous equipment, machinery, exposure to high noise levels, and handling of hazardous materials
Compensation
- The pay rate will depend on experience. $10-14/hour
