Academy of Art University is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Student Account Coordinator to support students. If you have an appreciation for the arts and education and desire to work REMOTELY, Academy of Art University encourages you to consider joining our team. As an Accounts Receivable Student Account Coordinator, you have a unique opportunity to work with aspiring artists.
Responsibilities:

Aids in billing, collections, and communications regarding student accounts

Provides written preparation and data input of all student account transactions

Answers telephone inquiries and counsel’s students on resolving debt incurred and answers questions about their account

Reviews central email account for student accounts and responds to inquiries from students
-
Outreach to students by phone and discuss payment and approved payment arrangements of the students’ balance.

Responds to the Registrar’s Office for clearance of students’ requests for release of transcripts and diplomas
-
Provides miscellaneous office support such as answering telephones and providing back-up for other office staff
-
Maintains department confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential

Adheres to all safety and housekeeping policies and procedures
-
Contributes to Team Effort by accomplishing related duties as needed

Responsible for reviewing students’ statements to ensure accuracy of receivable activity prior to sending to Third Party Collection Agency.

Work with other departments on all continuing students who have not completed their financial aid file; contact all students who have not applied for financial aid, have incomplete files, and/or have gaps between financial aid and total costs
Qualifications:

At least one year of experience working with accounts receivable preferred

Bachelor's Degree preferred

This is a REMOTE Position.
Compensation: $24.04 per hour
