Chef Owner, Judy Henry is a long time city resident who re-purposed the property and opened it as a restaurant in 2002. Our focus is upscale contemporary cuisine cooked in a hearthstone oven. Service is friendly-professional and chefs find it exceptionally satisfying because we have face to face encounters with our customers ( many of whom are regulars) on a daily basis..

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate all activities in the kitchen
- Plan and develop menus in concert with chef /owner Judy that meet customer preferences exceed expectations
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
- Monitor food production to ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Maintain inventory control by working with Chef / Owner Judy in ordering supplies and monitoring inventories
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with Chef/ Owner Judy and her team to develop new menu items and specials
- Manage kitchen expenses within budgetary guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, and food safety standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in inventory control and cost management
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required
