Clinical Nurse Educator
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs and training materials for nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Provide instruction on medical documentation, critical care, physiology knowledge, and patient care techniques
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff
- Collaborate with nursing managers and clinical leaders to identify educational needs and develop targeted programs
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in healthcare practices and incorporate them into educational materials
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through assessments and feedback from participants
- Provide guidance and support to nurses in their professional development
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations during training sessions
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a nurse in a clinical setting
- Masters of Science in Nursing required
- In-depth knowledge of psychiatric nursing and patient care best practices
- Proven experience in training development and delivery
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
