The RBT Recruiting and Training Specialist plays an integral role in supporting the recruiting, hiring, and training of the organization's Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians. This position educates schools and the community about this rewarding career as well as plays a pivotal role in screening, interviewing and offering Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician employment. Additionally, the RBT Recruiting and Training Specialist develops KGH's future therapists by providing high quality, comprehensive, and effective initial onboarding and training while demonstrating and sharing our positive culture, values, and fundamentals!
What will you do as the RBT Recruiting and Training Specialist?

Assist with Behavior Technician recruitment, including phone screening, in-person interviews, and extending offers

Attend and participate in career fairs and community events as needed

Develop and maintain partnerships with colleges and universities to build a pipeline of Behavior Technician candidates

Present at colleges and university classes to educate about a career path of being a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician and working with children with autism

Provide and oversee the Behavior Technician onboarding training

Train staff in CPR/First Aid training

Train staff in PCM/Crisis Intervention training

Provide clinical support to BT/RBTs, when requested

Provide client coverage, when needed
Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in related field

Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with active BACB certification

Ability to demonstrate fluency with explaining and demonstrating ABA concepts and able to teach others about ABA

Ability to obtain and maintain PCM (Professional Crisis Management) Trainer or other Crisis Intervention Trainer certification
