Job Summary: We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to become part of our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, handling inquiries, and supporting customers with their needs.
Responsibilities
- Work within a small team to assist Kestra advisors and staff in navigating systems, products, and services.
- Help advisors and their staff with questions regarding operational policies and procedures through phone and email.
- Collaborate with service team members to ensure a smooth and effortless client experience.
- Handle approximately 25 to 40 inbound calls and respond to around ten inbound emails daily.
- Log communications with the field, custodians, and vendors in Salesforce.
- Address inquiries about account servicing, the Kestra Financial Website, cost basis/account transactions, transfer of assets status, and retirement plans.
- Exhibit energy, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
- Display professionalism, accountability, customer/client focus, and teamwork.
- Work with other support and processing departments to resolve complex inquiries.

- A strong passion for service and financial markets, with a client-focused attitude and the desire to build relationships with each interaction.
- Ability to use active listening skills and interpret non-verbal cues to understand clients' needs and motivations, showing empathy and using good judgment to meet client objectives successfully.
- Quickly learn new technology and utilize various systems to identify solutions proactively.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- A proven work ethic with a high level of integrity to build trust with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in listening and explaining complex subjects.
Requirements:
- Two or more years in brokerage/financial services, banking, operations, and client support.
- Retirement Planning certifications are a plus.
- High school diploma/GED required; college degree preferred.
- Series 7 license or SIE is preffered
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
