Overview:
1-800 STRIPER is a national striping company in the DFW area. We are seeking out qualified individuals looking to grow professionally, alongside the company's expansion. Although striping expertise is not required, we would prefer some level of construction/industrial management experience. We offer paid training and opportunities for professional advancement.
Responsibilities:
- The manager is responsible for running many of the day to day aspects of the business. It involves sales/business development, operations management, estimates, invoices, customer service, troubleshooting, etc. The manager will be the face of the business on a day to day basis.
Role Summary:
- Develop network of relationships and work with corporate marketing team to drive business growth in the operating area.
- Work with owner on business development, including developing sales strategies, referral opportunities, managing client relationships, and closing transactions
- Oversight of projects from inception to completion, and providing any related follow-through items with the customer.
- Routine oversight of job completions, project progression, financial outcomes versus goals and objectives that have been set.
- Manage crew members and in-office staff, in a positive work setting and promoting development of all employees
Qualifications:
- Mature business experience, including previous management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to stringent timelines.
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, business development and communication skills.
- Knowledge of metrics, including gathering, reporting, and trend analysis within the company customer management system.
- Basic understanding of the mechanics of machinery and an ability to learn about the equipment used.
