We are joining the nation's most popular soccer development program for early childhood, elementary, and middle school children, and are seeking an enthusiastic and driven General Manager to join our Montgomery County, Maryland team! Since inception in Fall 2000, this program has been providing outstanding community-based soccer development instruction to children in over 1,000 schools, childcare centers, and facilities. A fun, non-competitive, and educational environment is created to ensure children develop self-confidence and physical literacy in every class. As our General Manager, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our impact and fostering the growth of young athletes in our community. This is a scalable position with increasing hours and responsibilities to full-time, as we grow the business in Montgomery County, Maryland.
What You'll Do:
- Build Relationships: Create new connections with target customers and parents.
- Champion Our Curriculum: Learn and promote our unique soccer curriculum.
- Lead and Manage: Assist in hiring and managing a dedicated team of staff.
- Multi-Location Management: Work across multiple locations throughout the week.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain program standards and exceed monthly goals.
- Strategic Growth: Identify and execute business opportunities for all Soccer Stars programs.
- Community Engagement: Build and manage relationships with schools, recreation departments, and community centers.
- Event Coordination: Organize and promote events to enhance community outreach.
- Customer Satisfaction: Address and resolve issues swiftly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Program Administration:
- Operational Excellence: Implement and execute regional administrative and operations timelines.
- Facility Management: Maintain effective business relationships with partner facilities and optimize class schedules.
- Resource Management: Oversee purchasing, distribution, and inventory of regional equipment.
Staff Management:
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and schedule local administrative staff.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and handle disciplinary actions.
- Coach Oversight: Approve and manage coach placements and schedules to ensure consistency and quality.
What We're Looking For:
- Leadership Experience: 2+ years in a leadership or management position (volunteering included).
- Relationship Building: Proven experience in building new customer relationships (sales or business development).
- Passion for Youth: Prior experience or enjoyment working with young children (volunteering included).
- Reliable Transportation: Must have dependable transportation.
- Soccer Experience: Is a plus, but not required

Compensation:
- Competitive Salary: Transparent and fair compensation. The base salary for this role is $45k - $60k.
