OLBN is currently seeking an Architect / Space Planner to support the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) in Hyattsville, MD. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and hard-working, established individual to join a dynamic group of Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry professionals in a technology driven, collaborative environment. The Architect / Space Planner will support WMATA in the development of space planning, field surveys, workspace standards, furniture plans, architectural designs and other design documentation support, and construction administration support as required. The successful candidate shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive technical experience in interior design or architecture, building codes and standards, and associated product knowledge. In addition, the successful candidate shall be a motivated self-starter who values teamwork as well as individual contribution/accountability. Attention to detail, commitment to deliverables and a desire to grow as a professional is essential. The candidate will report to WMATA New Carrollton Headquarters Building on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with remote workdays as an option for Monday and Friday.

Basic Requirements:
Education: Bachelor of Interior Design or Architecture Required
Certifications: Industry certifications and/or affiliations preferred
Background: U.S. Citizen or legal resident with ability to pass background investigation
