Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, exceptional client management skills, and a proactive approach to meeting client needs. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with businesses, assess their risk exposures, and develop customized insurance solutions to safeguard their operations.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, serving as their primary point of contact for insurance-related inquiries and guidance.
- Policy Analysis and Recommendations: Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients' insurance portfolios to identify coverage gaps, assess risk exposures, and recommend appropriate coverage enhancements.
- Insurance Placement: Work with underwriters to secure competitive quotes and negotiate terms on behalf of clients, ensuring they receive optimal coverage at the best possible rates.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Analyze clients' business operations and industry trends to identify potential risks and develop risk management strategies to minimize exposures.
- Claims Advocacy: Assist clients in navigating the claims process, advocating on their behalf to ensure prompt and fair resolution of claims.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all client records and policy documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters, risk management professionals, and claims adjusters, to deliver seamless service to clients and address complex insurance issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance is required, with a strong understanding of commercial property and casualty coverages.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and underwriters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in insurance software systems, preferably AMS360, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Active Property & Casulaty insurance license.
