Education, Training and Experience Required
- Board certified and experienced in hospital rounding, discharge and admitting patients
- 1 -2 years Intensivist experience preferred
- Comfortable working autonomously
- Licensed in the State of Alabama or willingness to obtain license
- Block schedule, seven-on, seven-off Nocturnists schedule
- See new ICU patients
- Admit new consults
- Manage acute critical care patients
- Physicians available for consultation or in-person as needs dictate
- Admit new patients to medical ICUs
- Code team
- Cerner – electronic medical record
