Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Make Ready Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential painting, mechanical knowledge, and facilities maintenance. As a Make Ready Technician, you will be responsible for preparing properties for new tenants and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure all facilities and equipment are in good working order, including inspecting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
- Conduct pre-move-out and move-in inspections to ensure that all properties are clean and ready for new tenants.
- Perform various painting and decorating tasks to ensure that all properties are well-maintained and visually appealing.
- Utilize welding skills to repair or replace equipment or materials as needed.
- Use logic controllers and other tools to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Utilize an ohmmeter to test electrical systems and identify potential problems.
- Supervise and direct other technicians and staff members as needed.
- Manage and maintain records of maintenance tasks and repairs using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and respond promptly to any concerns or issues.
- Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, following all company safety protocols and guidelines.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, residential painting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in welding and mechanical knowledge.
- Experience in supervising or leading a team of technicians or staff members.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with tenants.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and other technical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, climbing, and other physical tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
