Position Title: High School Principal
Reports to: Chief Education Officer
Civitas Education Partners (CEP), exists to provide equal access to opportunities that break the cycle of poverty by leading and supporting K-12 college preparatory schools. CEP is a school management organization that operates four campuses of Chicago International Charter School (CICS), CICS Ralph Ellison High School, CICS Northtown Academy High School, and CICS Wrightwood Elementary School. CEP aims to provide its teams and students with an exceptional educational experience rooted in high expectations for student achievement and civic responsibility.
Job Description: In alignment with our mission, the School Principal is accountable for the instructional, operational, and administrative Leadership at the Ralp Ellison campus. With a primary focus on instructional leadership, the School Principal provides all the necessary teacher support to maximize student achievement. In addition, the School Principal is responsible for building safety and security, as well as operational and financial efficiency. The School Principal is accountable for continuous improvement and academic success as measured by CPS' School Quality Rating Policy (SQRP).

Credentials:
-
An advanced degree in education or related field

Professional educators license
- 5 years of classroom experience in an urban school district or network (required)

2 years of school leadership experience that includes supervision and evaluation of teachers (required

Bi-lingual Spanish/English (preferred)
