Block Realty is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Maintenance Technician for our rapidly growing company. Block & Associates Realty is looking for a full-time employee who will serve as a Maintenance Technician. This person will undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of properties.
This person will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as light plumbing repair, light electrical repairs, air filter replacements, painting, delivering and setting up of appliances and other general repairs relating to the interior and exterior of residential homes. This person will be a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. Above average pay with benefits.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance as directed by the leadership.
- Ensures timely completion of service requests.
- Ensures timely turnover of vacant units under direction of the leadership.
- Maintains accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, expenditures, unit make ready status, work-in progress, etc.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing storage and management of hazardous materials.
Skills
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- General knowledge of appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition, able to climb a ladder, and able to lift +50lbs

Experience
- Minimum 2-year experience in home maintenance similar maintenance
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
