Rate of Pay: $20.00 $22.00 Per Hour
Reports To: Retail General Manager, Inventory Manager

Job Overview: The Inventory Supervisor leads inventory operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities include overseeing CATS compliance, conducting audits, monitoring product shelf life, and maintaining organized storage. Strong leadership skills are required to coach the team and align practices with business objectives while meeting regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team to ensure high performance, productivity, and adherence to company policies.
- Foster a positive, inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manage inventory strategies, processes, and standards to maintain accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee all CATS-related tasks, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and current inventory counts, implementing regular audits to verify accuracy.
- Monitor the shelf life of all products, recording expiration dates, and notifying vendors when products are near or past expiration to facilitate timely removal or replacement.
- Implement effective tracking systems to ensure no expired products remain in inventory.
- Conduct weekly inventory counts and audits to ensure consistent stock accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Develop and implement corrective actions promptly to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient inventory storage and distribution system.
- Ensure inventory areas meet all safety and regulatory standards, optimizing space and accessibility.
- Generate regular inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas of concern.
- Utilize inventory management software to maintain accurate data records and streamline reporting processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to align inventory practices with overall business objectives.
- Train team members on proper inventory handling, storage procedures, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- 1-2 years of inventory supervisor or management experience.
- CATS Knowledge or any other seed-to-sale tracking system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and other retail technologies. Basic knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods.
- Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle, package, and label products with precision.
