Job Description:
- Assemble and install lift gates on trucks according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure that all components are securely fastened and properly aligned during the assembly process.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify that lift gates meet safety standards and functional requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with lift gates, including electrical and mechanical problems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of worn parts.
- Document assembly procedures, inspection results, and maintenance activities accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback for continuous improvement of lift gate designs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with heavy equipment and tools.
- Provide technical support to customers regarding lift gate operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
