Provides operations and production support by delivering products and raw materials Locally or OTR Both positions available.

Delivers truckloads of finished lead products to assigned locations.

Picks up truckloads of raw materials at assigned locations.

Performs local warehousing and scrap yard work.

Inspects truck and trailer equipment for local and over-the-road use.

Complies with all environmental, health, safety and housekeeping programs.

Other duties, as assigned.

Must have five (5) years local and/or over-the-road semi driving experience.

Must be insurable by our insurance company.

Must possess valid Indiana commercial driver’s license with HAZ/MAT endorsement.

Must be able to furnish current Indiana Motor Vehicle Record.

Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical and drug screening.

Excellent interpersonal communications skills; written and verbal.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
