...In addition to our handmade pastas and brick oven pizzas, our dishes are inspired by classic Italian ingredients and preparations. Our extensive menu holds something for everyone. From inspired small plates and antipasti boards featuring a selection of salumi and cheeses, to entrees made with free-range poultry, sustainable seafood, and all natural meats. Our large selection of vibrant salads are made with local organic greens and seasonal produce.
Like many Italians, we believe that the best times are had over a glass of wine or an aperitivo. We offer an extensive wine by the glass selection as well as a comprehensive reserve bottle list, with varietals from Italy and beyond. Our craft cocktail menu offers classic drinks with a contemporary spin.
Duties:
- Weekend availability is a REQUIREMENT; we are busiest on Saturdays & Sundays - we need our team to be available!
- Willingness to embrace, represent, and assist with developing our brand (our guests come first - always!)
- Display professionalism at all times; adherence to uniform guidelines, punctuality, attendance, and a polished floor presence are not negotiable
- Create a guest experience that exceeds expectations; heavy focus on building and retaining a loyal customer base
- Maintain cleanliness of all work areas
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods; teamwork is a must - restaurants operations are part of everyone's job description!
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
Skills:
- Previous experience is preferred. However, we are willing to train those who are new to the industry with a passion for hospitality and want to learn.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with a diverse clientele (ability to 'read' your guests is a must!)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiar with upscale dining service standards; we are creating an experience, not turning tables!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
