Remote - Texas preferred but not required (please do apply y’all!)
Viva is a housing network which allows families the flexibility of renting at affordable rates while earning cash rewards for positive behaviors to save, invest, and make progress towards life goals, such as home ownership. Residents also have access to a variety of benefits including: health, education, and financial wellness. Viva is creating equity for all through housing.
The aim of the Home team is to better serve Viva’s renters (“residents”) who are seeking to purchase a home with experts who can support them in real-time. This is an opportunity to not only join a pre-seed startup at the ground level but to also serve as a general manager for initiatives which impact Viva’s bottom line. This role will have high visibility across all internal functions of the company (e.g., Product, Investor Relations, Engineering, etc.) and with external partners.
The CS team overall is tasked with serving as Viva’s point of contact with families living in apartment communities, helping connect them to benefits.
In addition to access to the Viva Home Team, these benefits include high-interest savings, cash rewards, and depending upon the partner: free healthcare access from Teladoc, free tutoring from Learn To Be (non-profit), and other benefits that may arise. Together with our partners — the CS team provides a 'continuum of care.'
A key example is access to down payment assistance that can save a prospective homebuyer $5,000+ in FREE grant money, helping accelerate their transition to homeownership.
The perfect candidate for the Viva Home Team role already lives to place people in new homes; every day when you wake up, you succeed or fail based on how many people you move forward in the home purchase process. This role will just turbo-charge your impact.
