Duties and Responsibilities
As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring smooth operations within the accounting department in a fast-paced environment. Here are the key responsibilities:
o Assist with billing processes, including pulling Bills of Lading (BOLs) and researching work orders.
o Handle payables by requesting vendor statements and bills, as well as pulling Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
o Reconcile accounts by pulling statements and comparing them against aging reports.
o Prepare reports for tracking purposes using Excel and Word.
o Prepare bank deposits and post entries to the general ledger.
o Assist accounting team as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
o Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in CPG or foodservice.
o Minimum of high school diploma, college or university diploma in a related field strongly preferred.
o Some knowledge of accounting principles highly preferred.
o Experience with big box retailer portals highly preferred.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLookup, PivotTable etc.
o Must possess organizational, communication and prioritizing skills.
o Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as assigned

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
