Diesel Mechanic for construction company fleet
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing diesel engines and vehicles. If you have a passion for working with diesel-powered equipment and possess expertise in automotive diagnostics, this role is perfect for you.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately
- Repair and replace components such as shocks struts, air brakes, and Caterpillar engines
- Utilize power tools to efficiently complete tasks
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed
- Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition
Skills:
- Proficiency in Construction fleet equipment
- Strong electrical system troubleshooting skills
- Experience in automotive diagnostics
- Knowledge of air brake systems
- Ability to perform equipment repair efficiently
- Expertise in automotive repair techniques
- Familiarity with Caterpillar engines maintenance
- Proficient in using power tools for repairs
- Ability to dig into complex mechanical issues

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.50 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
