Role: Retail Store Manager & Head of Personal Styling

The ideal candidate will have an ability to manage the daily operations of the retail store and complete tasks related to inventory tracking, visual merchandising, and personal shopping. They should be a confident salesperson and be able to share their best practices in order to onboard new employees. This candidate should also possess strong leadership skills and be able to assign duties to relevant employees in order to maintain the function of the store.

The Head of Personal Shopping and In-Store Manager plays a crucial role in the company's growth and success. This position requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about exceeding client expectations, experienced in visual merchandising, personal shopping, and inventory management, and is capable of acting as a brand ambassador. The ideal candidate is an experienced stylist and personal shopper dedicated to consistently enhancing the client experience. This role involves managing a team, driving business growth, achieving significant sales targets, and overseeing daily store operations.

Responsibilities:
Personal Styling and Sales
- Drive Consignment and Appointments: Consistently generate and manage consignment and appointment-based business.
- Closet Organization: Provide personalized closet organization services for top clients.
- Personal Marketing: Actively market personal styling services to build a strong client base.
- In-Store Personal Shopper: Perform as a dedicated personal shopper within the store.
- Sales Targets: Achieve a minimum of $1 million in annual sales.
- Business Growth: Continuously comp and grow the business year over year.
Visual Merchandising
- Floor Set Execution: Assist in the execution of floor sets according to the Visual Standards Manual.
- Visual Standards Maintenance: Ensure daily maintenance of visual merchandising standards.
Store Operations
- Open and Close Store: Responsible for opening and closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed for security and readiness.
- Team Scheduling: Manage team schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels and performance for peak and off-peak hours.
- Inventory Management: Work closely with operations to manage inventory levels and supplies, ensuring stock is adequately maintained and orders are placed as needed.
- Selling Floor Standards: Maintain operational and visual standards on the selling floor throughout the day and at closing.
- Loss Prevention: Adhere to loss prevention guidelines and deter shoplifting through excellent customer service.
- POS Procedures: Follow all POS system procedures for reconciling sales.

Compensation
This is a contract job with the option to evolve into a full-time opportunity.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of retail and retail management experience.
- 3-5 years of personal styling or personal shopping experience.
- Demonstrated ability to train employees and be an effective salesperson.
- Strong customer service, management and communication skills.

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
