The Pain Management Associate position at Allied Pain & Spine Institute is an ideal opportunity for physicians seeking autonomy, stability, and professional growth while being part of a reputed, cutting-edge, integrated medical group backed by full-support services.

The following are examples of physician duties:
- Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients presenting with diverse pain, spine, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Create full-spectrum conservative and minimally invasive treatment plans and regularly manage chronic patient needs.
- Refer for diagnostic testing and consultative services to enable comprehensive evaluation and treatment.
- Refer, where applicable, to in-house Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Digital Therapy, Psychology, Surgical Services, Wellness Services, Functional Restoration Program, etc, where applicable.
- Collaborate with peers and ancillary providers to manage acute and chronic patient needs.
- Recommend and perform interventional pain/spine procedures in-clinic or at affiliated state-of-the-art (on-premises) Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC), as applicable.
- Educate patients and provide tailored care.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine
- Graduate of an accredited Residency Program, with board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology, Occupational Medicine, Neurology, or PM&R, with advanced training in Pain Medicine (Fellowship experience preferred)
- Stellar communication skills, oral and written
- Strong computer skills
- Familiarity and efficiency with EMR documentation
- M.D. licensure in the State of California
Experience and interventional skill set preferred.
For newly-trained physician specialists, strong mentorship will be provided.
Knowledge of the California Worker’s Compensation system will be considered a plus.
