Job Description:
The Women's Center of Greater Lansing is seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable receptionist to join our team. As our clients' first point of contact, the receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Answering phones and responding to emails promptly and professionally.
Greeting clients upon arrival and directing them to their therapist or group session.
Managing filing systems and ensuring that all records are up to date and organized.
Performing general reception duties, including sending out appointment reminders, filing, typing, copying, scanning etc. and managing office supplies.
Provide general support and information by answering client questions and requests via face to face, telephone, or email.
Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Ensure various databases are maintained and current.
Open/Close routines of the property.
Providing necessary information to the insurance biller.
Provide occasional coverage of other similar positions.
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Gmail)
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively and independently.
Experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
A compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients.
