Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food service operations and ensure that all food and beverage orders are processed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all staff members are trained properly in the food service process.
- Work with the Food Service Manager to ensure proper menu items are being served at all locations.
- Coordinate all food orders with delivery services and vendors.
- Ensure that proper inventory levels are maintained at all locations.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen at all times.
- Control costs by following recipes, purchasing supplies, etc.
- Maintain proper inventory levels at all locations.
- Oversee staff performance and provide performance feedback to improve productivity and customer service.
- Comply with all health and safety standards in the kitchen area.
- Control costs by analyzing cash receipts and manually adjusting inventory levels when necessary.
- Control expenses by analyzing weekly food cost reports and manually adjusting manual functions when necessary.
- Ensure proper billing of all deliveries, catering, catering services, etc., as well as payroll taxes correctly each week.
- Assist in the training of new employees on proper food service procedures and maintain positive employee relations by treating them professionally at all times.
