MERCHANDISER (BILINGUAL IN SPANISH)
Full time role and full benefits after 90 days probation.
Responsabilities:
Adherence to Display Planner Calendar
–Ensure stores are properly executing the secondary Display Planner with correct signage
–All displays, wings, and product stacks must have accurate signage before leaving the store
–All endcaps to have a minimum of two items – depending on the item, endcaps can be set vertical or horizontal
Execution of Programs and Promotional Events
–All stores participating and executing Push Programs and Bundled promotions
–Themed signage with accurate retail pricing and product displays in optimum store location
Sales Growth Opportunities
–Review sales results for your stores weekly
–Identify opportunities to increase sales during store visits
–Identify root cause for underperforming stores – Why store(s) are underperforming
–Review opportunities to grow sales with your supervisor to determine appropriate actions, resources needed and next steps
–Opportunities and action plans will be reviewed monthly
Shelf and Planogram Integrity – weighted: 20%
–Planograms – check 3 to 5 categories during each store visit – identify variances so we can determine if adjustments should be made.
–Ensure shelf has correct tags: Advertised Specials, TPR’s and Everyday Pricing
–Assist with training of store personnel to be able to order product from authorized suppliers – Excel, GSC, and DSD
Support New Store Openings
–Walk store with reset team to review planogram and endcaps to make notes of any adjustments to the planogram
–Provide four (4) weeks of on-sight support post opening of new store – average 2 days per week depending on store needs
Other considerations:
•Unauthorized products and equipment is not to be removed or placed in the store’s warehouse
–Take the time to find out the “why” before you act or respond to a situation
–Report these situations to your supervisor, the buyer or operations supervisor depending on the item(s)
•Resets and Refreshes will not be the primary responsibility of the Merchandising team. Periodically, the Merchandising team will provide support and assistance to the Reset and Operations Teams.
•The role of the Merchandising team is to assist, support and help the stores grow profitably.
•Show the store and all employees the same respect you would expect if you were the store operator.
•Before you leave the store, communicate to the Manager the positive things about the store, what work you did, and what you are going to follow-up on. Also mention how you can help them address specific opportunities and challenges that will result in increased sales and profits for the store.
SKILLS
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- 80% on-field role (store to store)
- Valid US driver's license
