Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing client's living space
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings, if needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Ability to cook meals and follow dietary guidelines
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and move clients as required
- Experience in home care or senior care settings is a plus
- Ability to provide assistance with tube feeding, if necessary
- Knowledge of assisted living principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
CNA License is NOT required.
