Overview:
As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will design, develop, implement, and maintain automation scripts for functional tests, integration tests and end-end scenario tests. You will collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to create and deploy automated tests, scripts, and tools that streamline workflows, reduce manual labor, and improve overall efficiency within the SAFe agile delivery methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Designs and develops automated tests, scripts, and tools to support software development, testing, and deployment processes.

Creates and maintains technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test plans.

Conduct system testing to ensure that automated solutions are functioning as expected and meet business requirements.

Continuously monitor and improve automated systems and processes to optimize performance and minimize errors.

Provides technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective use of automation tools and systems.
Qualifications and Education:
Required:

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 8-10 years of related experience including:

Unit testing
-
Testing tools including jMeter and Postman

Atlassian Application Lifecycle Management (JIRA/Confluence).

Availability during the core business hours of 9-5 EST

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred:

Candidates in the easterrn, central or mountain time zones

Experience supporting US federal government contracts
Compensation:
In accordance with pay transparency guidelines, the proposed salary range for this position is $105,000 to $135,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors such as relevant skills, experience and certifications.
