Customer Service Representative (Part-Time)
Tacoma Sign Company (Located in Gig Harbor) is looking for a professional and team-oriented person to compliment our 5-person staff! The business is fun and has a continuous stream of new projects managed by good people. In our Customer Service Representative role, you would coordinate the sales and production process to see that service and quality objectives are fulfilled for our customers. Our Sales Associate position also helps to manage the customers’ experience and assists with and accepts delegated tasks from Sales Manager and Production Manager. Other duties include: answering phone calls and identifying leads; file & estimate generation; follow-up on proofing with customers; communicating with vendors to order material/ follow-up on existing orders; rating of leads from SEO service; collecting customer deposits and balance payments; and occasional light production of graphics. Marketing aptitude and a sense for graphic design is a bonus, but not imperative.
Position Responsibilities:
· To conduct oneself with the highest levels of Integrity, positively representing the company and employees in a trustworthy, and sincere manner.
· Serve as the customer contact for questions relating to their activities.
· Positively and professionally address customer needs, requests, and concerns in a timely manner.
· Process customer calls, information requests, order delays, and backorders, and track order status and confirmations in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
· Generate new customers from leads and generate basic pricing for common products.
· Detail new customer leads prior to handing off to sales, ensuring all required information is provided.
· Follow up and provide feedback on customer quotations.
· A basic understanding of the business’ shop, warehouse, and shipping process.
· Manage an open order file daily, ensuring all delivery / installation dates are up to date and correct.
· Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented work climate that supports our Company Mission.
· Work with team members to develop professionally and flourish as we strive to exceed customer needs successfully.
· Strive to become knowledgeable of Tacoma Sign Company’s production and installation processes.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Communicate effectively and professionally in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
· Other duties as directed by supervisor.

Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time. Options to stand or sit while stationary.
· Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machines, etc.
· Consistently operates a computer and other office machines, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
· The ability to communicate information and ideas clearly through written and verbal form so others will understand.
