DMNYC, a dynamic and innovative fashion consultancy, is on the rise. We offer comprehensive design and product management services to both emerging and established fashion labels, making us a unique player in the industry.
We are in search of a committed, well-organized, and detail-oriented assistant to the owner. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining the time in-action calendar for our diverse client base, curating and updating our design libraries, and ensuring the smooth flow of work in progress and individual customer line sheets. You will also play a crucial part in our client management, following up with vendors to meet client deadlines. Your role will extend beyond the office, as you will be running various business-related errands. Essentially, you will be the right hand to the owner, contributing to the success of our company. This role demands strong time management skills, flexibility, agility, and an organized mind.
Knowledge, Experience, Skills, & Abilities
- An interest in fashion and product development
- Basic proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is preferred but not required.
- Highly skilled in Excel
- Prior experience maintaining a calendar for workflow or experience allocating work to a team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and quality
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
