Kinship Caregiver Enrichment Trainer
Position Overview:
The Enrichment Trainer is responsible for facilitating Kinship Caregiver enrichment training for the families we service, ensuring that they receive the necessary skills and knowledge needed to meet the requirements of the certification process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, knowledge of the child welfare system and a passion for educating and helping families thrive in the process.
Key Responsibilities:

Create engaging training materials such as presentations, handouts, and multimedia content.

Conduct training sessions through various ways including in-person workshops, webinars, and e-learning platforms.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback to make improvements.

Develop training calendars for staff and clients

Ability to create/write curriculum, to update existing curriculum and instructional materials and methods.

Maintain training logs and attendance sheets

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Completion of all caregiver certification/recertification training inclusive of First Aid/CPR/AED.

Must become familiar with the 3680, 3700 regulations and requirements

Must be able to understand and execute certification and recertification Gold Standards.
- Conduct 80 hours of instructional sessions monthly.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education, child Welfare, human services or related field preferred.

Strong presentation and communication skills.

Proficiency in learning management systems and other training tools.

Proficiency with Microsoft office products

Proficiency with usage of technology (i.e. laptops, desk tops, tablets, Bluetooth devices, audio/visual equipment,
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Requirements

Current Act 33 and Act 34 Clearances

Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License

Access to an insured, registered vehicle that can be used for employment.

Available to work flexible schedule (evenings and weekend hours as scheduled)
This position requires flexibility to include evening and weekends hours.
