We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at WCDL in Hawthorne, CA for a full time Regional Laboratory Business Administrator.
The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Works closely with the Lab General Manager to set and meet overall business goals.
- Maintains financial planning and reporting to ensure financial strength of the Lab.
- Oversees Lab’s overall budget and capital purchase. Works with corporate and all department leaders to plan goals, monitor results and implement changes when needed.
- Communicates and works with Lab Managers on financials, policies and other objectives. Participates in projects as needed.
- Coordinates collections strategy with Corporate AR team. Manages collections, check deposits, credit card transactions, customer’s credits, monthly AR close and monthly AR statement process for WCDL brands and NDXP.
- Oversees purchasing team. Manages timely supplier payment, invoicing coding and processing, raw material purchasing, material usage analysis and tracking, and monthly inventory count.
- Oversee physical and systematic purchase and transfer of goods for offsite manufacturing location.
- Primary backup to the Purchasing/Supply Coordinator and Credit Manager/Accounts Payable Coordinator as needed.
- Reviews financial statements and provides analysis on data, including variances from budget.
- Assists in the annual business plan process.
- Assists in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
- Interacts with external auditors to complete audits, when necessary
- Follow accounting policies and procedures
- Oversees compliance program for Lab business units
- Assists Regional General Manager in managing Hawthorne location as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Associate degree in Accounting/Bachelors preferred
- Minimum 8-10 years direct experience in general accounting.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of Oracle.
- Should be very detail oriented.
