We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our team at a high end seafood restaurant in the Minneapolis area. In an Assistant General Manager position, you will oversee aspects of guest service, staff training/development, and restaurant operations to deliver unparalleled hospitality to elevate the dining experience for our guests.
Assistant General Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, providing ongoing support, feedback, and coaching to empower team members to deliver outstanding service.
- Implement training programs to educate front of house staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and hospitality best practices.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and increase guest loyalty.
- Cultivate relationships with guests, regular patrons, and local businesses to enhance the restaurant's reputation and attract new clientele
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and adherence to restaurant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of proven experience in a supervisory or management role in a high-end restaurant or hospitality establishment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure, professionalism, and organization
