Job Description:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Blazerjobs, you will:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students, primarily at the elementary level, with flexibility to work with other grade levels as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized education programstailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational and social development.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and progress toward goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student support plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Associationpreferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work with different grade levels as needed.
