Who We're Seeking
We seek a Senior Project Manager to be a key player in our client’s Platform Engineering project. You’ll be responsible for overseeing project delivery and alignment with business objectives. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities related to enterprise-level IT engineering and business programs. Responsible for developing prioritization processes, communications, and team-level impediments for automation projects and programs. You’ll manage risks and issues and drive continuous improvement throughout project lifecycles.
The Senior Project Manager will also facilitate PI planning sessions, maintain the Jira board, and manage tasks associated with these responsibilities, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
What you'll do
- Your initial focus will be on managing the development process across numerous projects and communicating with upper management.
- You’ll map architecture and development backlog.
- Develop and own roadmap for MVP and beyond.
- Be a true team player, coordinating across the broader team and working on different layers of the infrastructure
- Subsequent phases will involve component migrations to the Cloud
- Utilize collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality product development
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- 7+ years of project management disciplines, including ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience in project planning, including building and managing to project plans, budgeting, resource allocation, and reporting status to clients and internal teams
- Experience managing teams through client-facing activities such as requirements gathering, stakeholder workshops, and deliverable review/approval sessions
- 5+ years of working directly with and leading engineering teams.
- 5+ years of experience working within AWS environments
- Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field
