Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Montessori Director to lead our school. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy, and the ability to inspire and guide both staff and students. This role is integral in maintaining the high standards of our Montessori program and ensuring a positive, enriching environment for our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the school, ensuring compliance with Montessori standards and Texas minimum standard requirements for child care licensing.
- Lead and mentor a team of Montessori educators, fostering professional development and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement educational programs and curricula that align with Montessori principles.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students to build strong relationships and address any concerns.
- Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and enrollment processes.
- Promote the school within the community and actively participate in marketing and outreach efforts.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff.
Qualifications:
- Montessori Certification (AMS, AMI, or MACTE accredited) is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Montessori educational setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and use of relevant technology.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
