Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in daily operations and provide exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities.
Duties:
- Manage and maintain inventory levels, including stock replenishment
- Oversee and lead a team of retail clerks, providing guidance and support
- Assist in sales management, setting targets, and driving revenue growth
- Conduct employee orientation and training sessions
- Support the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and scheduling staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Utilize retail math skills for cash handling, pricing, and promotions
- Assist in inventory management to optimize product availability
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail or similar environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Proficiency in basic math for inventory control and sales analysis
- Prior experience in employee orientation and training is a plus
- Familiarity with recruiting processes is advantageous
