Job Title: Business Development Construction Manager

Overview: We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This role will focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with potential clients, and driving growth in key markets.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients and build relationships to generate new business opportunities in the construction sector.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective strategies for promoting company services and capabilities.
- Lead negotiations and close agreements with clients to maximize profit.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Maintain a strong understanding of company products, services, and capabilities to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales and business development progress.
Requirements:
- Estimating experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record in business development or sales within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with bidding processes and contract negotiations.
- Established network of contacts within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
